Be captured by an Alien from the film of the same name and be face-hugged or have Ebola?

A hard choice, but i think i would go for the alien.

Slightly different to how they ended up, but the underside must be about the same, it looks like a mouth/anus and the delivery tube.

I don't think face huggers have genitals, they're born from the eggs that are a result of breeding between the Aliens with the sole purpose of planting the Alien embryo inside a host.

That's what I thought, but it's also likely that the mouth and anus are also on the underside.

Im tempted to say its neither, it is probably a specialised appendage specific to delivering the embryo and providing the host with the necessaries of respiration.
