Ok going by the past few days there has been a countdown with certain letters at the start of the countdown, however today it looks like there arn't any numbers which would mean it would be launching in the early hours of the morning, if you wanted something to push that GPU to it's max, this is gonna push new cards like my 6800 GT the same way that 03 pushed the 9800's. Check out futuremark's site here : http://www.futuremark.com for some pics of it running, looks amazing!

Basically runs a series of tes**ts with your CPU and Graphics card, the CPU on its own and then individual tes**ts with your graphics card on its own (e.g Pixel Shader, colour fill etc). These tes**ts work with your sys**tem RAM and there are also individual sound tes**ts to see how well the sound card performs. Using different driver versions, overclocknig and a different Direct X you can figure out the bes**t configuration for your hardware.

Although bench tes**ts are designed to run the same way everytime so you will never get an exact idea of how well your hardware will run real time with all the variables that games throw at you with you in control.

Basically s**tart off with s**tock speeds and overclock until you hit the perfect mix. The benchtes**t will crash and show artifacts if your memory speed is clocked too high, the same goes if the CPU has been clocked too high, your PC will jus**t reset.

Good for gamers and overclockers, pretty sh*t for everyone else.
