I know people like that myself, but you have to realise that there are many reasons why people end up a certain way. I think that's a pretty valid point, to be honest.
Personally, I can't see what's so great about gothic music like Marilyn Manson, The Murderdolls, Slipknot et al. But then we all have different tastes, otherwise most of my music wouldn't be from the 1970s/80s.

It's not meant to be one, but when you say 'Most goths had a disturbed childhood' then you're obviously talking out of your ass. I know about 6 goths and they're all nice people with normal childhoods, but sadly the music they listen to has sort of taken over their lives.
So we have the goths I know who had normal childhoods and the goths you know who have disturbed childhoods. We conclude the following: you're talking out yer bee-hind, love.
