What were the best parts of 2006?
Getting engaged.
Getting a 360.
The "WTH?" that resulted from hearing Galloway was on Big Brother.
Casino Royale being good.
*Still being able to eat everything I want!
Losing a stone without trying and being told my weight is not only good but perfect (always good to hear)
The Torys banding together under a primary school drawing of a logo. Expect a cartoon dog to raise it's leg against it in the future. :D

Becoming very mildly intolerant to a few foods.*
The Iraq mess.
Cheney managing to not shoot himself.
'Revolution' changing to 'Wii'. ;)
People still liking rubbish.
Still no follow up to 'A Song of Ice and Fire' by George R.R. Martin!
The fact that Boris Johnson hasn't been given his own television channel yet.
Getting engaged.
Getting a 360.

My youngest daughter, Alana, being born comes out on top of everything.
Getting the Xbox 360 was a high point (and the Wii will no doubt be another best part of 2006 in a few weeks time).
I can't really think of any other stand-out moments of 2006.
