1. Mmmm ... yummy. Don't think much of it will get on my MP3 player, but (like now) I need a crazy pick-up. Fantastic for that - shame all best songs are the singles, no hidden gems so to speak.
2. Meh. I can't really see what all the fuss is about. Yeah, some good choons - but some occasionally terrible lyrics. And, given the choice, I think there's always going to be something else I'd rather listen to.
3. Wooo. Brilliant. At first only 2 songs (Golden Touch and In The City) really stood out, but now I love every one on there. In The City is my new favourite song evAr.
4. Great, yes - but almost all-too-familiar. Riffs nicked from everywhere, so even though the choons are good, it's hard to like them too much. Then along comes Lazy Gun and Sgt. Major right near the end, which are bloody fantastic.
So there you go.

Yeah, I think I need to listen through it again, not sure I was properly concentrating on it for the first listen.
Also got the Franz Ferdinand album earlier in the week, which despite me having heard quite a few of the songs on there quite a bit prior to buying it, I still love.
And Dalston is, jim-hat says, about the Pete of Doherty.
I am off to see them in a few weeks
