Taken from Sky Sports:

"Keane feels that only Rooney and Paul Gascoigne, in addition to Ryan Giggs, have emerged as genuinely gifted British performers over the past 15 years.

"Gazza's one of two players from the last 10 or 15 years I would have paid to watch," Keane told United We Stand. "One of two who really excited me.

"Rooney is the other one. I watched him against Bolton a while ago and he hit the post about six times and destroyed them.

"Maybe a young Giggsy too. Maybe I would have paid to watch him."

Now, Roy Keane is stupid. Please agree. Those few players from 15 years?

Or maybe I'm only angry because he didn't mention Joe Cole and implies my other hero is past it. Ryan Giggs is and will always be better than you, you dirty Irish ankletapper. Now go and beat up a kid while Joe Cole laughs at you.

The only defender i'd pay to watch in the modern game is probably Roberto Carlos although the term 'defender' is very loosely used :-D

Which, incidentally, reminds me of the genius Neville Diary thing on footie365.
That = superb.

I always think the football ones are the funniest.

"David, Neville's here."
"Which one?"
"The crap one."
"Yeah...which one?"
"The ugly one."
"YES...which one?"
"Er, which one are you?"

That was the funniest sketch I'd ever seen on it.

I rate Frank Lampard. He's probably the only Chelsea player I'd like to see at Highbury.

Anyone seen that 2DTV sketch with Keane. Mikey Owen is running towards him and a devil appears on his shoulder.

"Go get 'im, Roy. KIll 'im." Then another devil appears, "That's roight, Roy! Rip 'is bollarcks off!"

Keane: You're roight! *runs screaming at Mikey*

Mikey(lying on the ground, decked). Angel appears "Don't retaliate, Michael." Another angel "That's right. Buy him some flowers."

I love 2DTV.

Yep and that's why Scholes should have been in there. The using O'Shea tactic was to protect the back 4 but he seemed to get forward more than anyone and since we dominated the game so much I feel Fergie should have tried putting Scholes in there and Smith upfront - it's more likely we would have scored more goals then.

Ferreira has been so boring this season. He's only starting to learn how to go forward for us.

I think we have two of the most exciting defenders to watch in the country - in Wayne Bridge and Glen "look I really can take on their whole team" Johnson. Brdigey's always charging up the wing, and scores a few goals too (cough Highbury cough).

Drogba is a very exciting player to watch. His turns, burts of pace, trickery and moments of individual skill make him one of the most exciting strikers in the premiership. However, he cant score (which is a bit of a problem at times....)

Cole is very exciting to watch on his day, but at times he tends to drift out of the game. He was amazing on the last game of last season against leeds, took on all the players so many times, and some of the tricks he produced that day were sensational. He even did the "Harry Kewell" cross behind his other leg.....But he doesn't do these things often enough to be called "the most exciting in the country" in my opinion.
