Heinze was quite solid defensive wise, but his passing was quite dodgy at times.

Terry will never be true top class like Rio becasue of his lack of pace. He has got better of late, but seen him get done for pace far too aften in the past. Especially for England against Australia which stands out in my mind. Although i'd rather Terry played as it would mean Rio stays fresher for utd.

Off topic....but does a blind man cut Terrys hair? Anyone notice it at the weekend? still same on top and back, but clean shaven just above the ears...Saw a guy in Germany with that about 6 years ago, couldnt stop laughin.

It was so obvious he'd get MOTM, when Xabi Alonso was quite excellent, not to mention Silvestre, Heinze, Josemi, Ronaldo etc.

But he was very good. For the first half, they looked like the Man Utd of old, and their defence looked impenetrable, but as the game wore on they looked worse and worse.

I don't get the whole Keane thing. He is there for leadership? He is a childish bully and I have yet to watch a game where I have thought, wow, Keane played well.

Rio, I didn't see today's game, so it's hard to comment. He has always been overrated for my liking. I'd prefer Terry, myself.

Keane was a class act today, and his demise is vastly blown out of proportion.

Rooney more important than Rio? oh my....Rio was bloody amazing today after being missed for so long. In europe Rooney wont even start a game against the top teams with fergie playing Van Nistelrooy in the 4-5-1.

no, i didnt mean that really...The poor start has been a combination of a messed up pre-season and missing players.

Butt is apparently very influential from what i've read from some of the utd players. Chats alot and gets everyones spirits up. When Keane was missing alot of the players just didnt seem to have any drive. Players like Butt, Rio and Keane are missed double as much becasue of that.

Things will start to pick up now, although Tottenham away will be a very tough game. although it has usually been an easy 3 points...
