I am looking for a reasonably priced laptop capeable of playing uptodate games such as far cry and half life 2.
I have seen one on this website however the price of it falls near £1200 and my budget is £1100.
I know nothing about comupters or laptops so please try and make the replies simple!

Thanks a ton.

Laptops are also very poor when it comes to durability, one heavy poke at the screen and its time for a new screen. And because u will share it with each other and you both sound quite young the chances are you will most likely argue over it and drop it. And can you please answer this question: Do you have AOL?

I've got to laugh, that's such a good idea!

It's true too, most desktop PCs cost half what a latpop does for the same specs.

SR's Iridium ones are good.

I got one of the Starbooks, it's great.

Just relay all of these points to them however.

PCs are:

Cheaper.
Better.
More reliable (Lie if you have to!).
Easier to fix.
You get more with the packages.
Don't get damaged as easily.
Quieter, believe me the Iridium ones get noisy when they start to get hot, the fan goes mad. (Note, I've just said that and the fan has turned off! It's silent now, woooooo!)
Faster components, ie DVD drives.
Better sound, if you wanna play games you'll need good sound.

Christ, just get a desktop.

You'd be a supreme fool to make such a massive sacrifice over a petty sibling squabble.

Would this laptop not do the job?

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
Brilliant service.
Love it, love it, love it!
