My shoulders and writst kinda hurt, but I reckon I will get used to it? I think it's from using the gear box thingy, it's a wierd action.

I've had three lessons so far, covered most turns, gear changing, pulling away, and stopping. Apparantly i'm progressing really well! Well compared to my mate who's had 5 lessons and still not done anywhere as much as me!

corners are scary too. I tend to leave it a bit late and end up going towards oncoming traffic. Not nice.

Yeah, it's like riding a bike I suppose. Except you have air conditioning. ;)

30Mph seems really slow after going at around 50/60/70mph- I can see how easy it is for people to speed. Yikes.

My parents dont drive spikecast so I doubt they'd be a lot of use

I remember passing my driving test two years ago, I hated instructor at times, he hated people be right all of the time and he used to grab the wheel off you if you missed the junction. I also remember the funniest outburst from him "BLOODY HELL MAN!" I almost got rid of him for being an abusive git, stuck it out another month and to his surprise I passed first time, try and get some lessons from your parents, goes a long way I rekon.
