My shoulders and writst kinda hurt, but I reckon I will get used to it? I think it's from using the gear box thingy, it's a wierd action.

Heh, I hit the same speed on my way back from Cardiff a while ago coming back along the CLEAR M5. 70 simply wasn't fast enough, with all that open road behind and ahead of me... But then, the steering-wheel of my escort started to shake and vibrate - so, I thought it'd be best to slow back down again.

It's amazing how fast transit fans can go on the motorway, too. I know exactly what a white van-driver is too well, but, for some reason, I didn't quite expect to see them come flying past me at well over 70mph!

I'm alright at it. Lacked confidence to be good at it but I'm good now I've passed it for a bit.

Maybe you smell bad? Do you shower?

Anyway, driving is a strange thing. It's like a skill. Some people are good, some people are ok and some are bad. It took me 11 lessons before I passed. I have stalled a car 3 times, (twice in the space of one minute in my mums crappy car).

Some people can't judge spaces. Some people struggle when going backwards. Some people struggle with the timing. My sister struggles with all of these.

It's one of those things that unless you are bad at it, you wont understand why others are.

I hated my instructor by the end of it all, i really did want to shoot him in the face with a nailgun.

Yeah... I'm getting slightly better at it though... I have my 6th lesson on friday...

My instructor gets very annoyed with me when I screw up. Why does he care? It means I need more lessons which equate to more money to him.

I do like him though, when I do well he is very nice, and he tries to let me do it without much interference. I tend to stall lately... which is funny because I didn't at all for my first few lessons.

I drive around in one of my fields in an old Peugeot 309.
Good fun, you cant really go past 3rd gear though.
