Now are they just saying this because they want everybody to have nice shiny iPods, or can you not download anything you had from iTunes onto a regular MP3 player?
Not that I even have one, but my wife wants one for her birthday.
You can convert any file to MP3 as well, there's an option in one of the menu's ...
Suprised nobody knew that.
Also it makes the nicest playlist....
And if you're wondering why iTunes is so extremely focused on iPod's, it's simply because it was primarilly built as the Software for iPods, not a standalone product (which is blatantly why you don't have to pay for it - yet...)
Can't listen to timmargh! he was stupid enough to buy a mac! Hohohohohoho :-)
"You better have a descent system cause this software will suck it all up like theres no tomorrow."
"I have no way to play MP3's now. Thanks!"
"It's far too slow and buggy. Nearly every time I imported songs into my library, the program froze up and I'd have to go to Task Mgr to kill the processes"
Need I go on?! :D

Whats wrong with MusicMatch? I've been using it for years and it's always been fine for me.
What should I get thats better than it?
I'm on about the actual iTunes software.
Just make a playlist of the song you want, select them all and drag them onto (into) the MP3 player disc / window.
