I have always been a Smackdown!(PS2) guy myself, but I could be persuaded to try this out. Does anyone have it? has anyone played it?
Let me know what it's like, and is it superior to HCTP in any way?

I'm surprised that he hasnt mentioned thats hes NOW completed Smackdown. on Day Of Reckoning.

Strange...similar thing happens on the SD! side, but with a less obvious stable.

I'm doing the Smackdown storyline which is original amnd has some great twists. Cong Man has now been a Tag Champ, with Booker T and US Champ.

It sounds alot better than previous GC outings, but I am pretty sure SD vs Raw will eclipse it, so unless this lawsuit thing delays the release(which it probably won't) I think I'll wait for that.

Lucy bought this for me yesterday as a belated birthday present. The game engine is pretty much the same as the previous Gamecube 'Wrestlemania' releases but the addition of a decent story mode makes this about a million times better than said games. No offence, but did anyone actually want to play 'Revenge' mode? Man, that sucked in the previous GC offering. Anyway, the innovative part of the story mode is that you have to play through as a 'CAW', you can't play as an established superstar, which. given the context of the story (young unknown making his way up the rankings from development to world champ) makes a lot of sense. This also pushes you into actually using the CAW feature, something I have to say I haven't really bothered with since No Mercy as the CAW features in WM were limited to say the least. A huge set of moves and being able to edit just about everything you can think of from your CAWs appearance to their entrance makes this easily he best CAW feature I've ever seen in a game. I'm definetly going to playing tjhis tonight as 'The Cong Man' is set to earn a spot on Heat if he can beat Booker T.

Yeah I think it was released on Friday. Ain't read the review for it yet but I got a 'Cube so I may get it. Gonna take me a while though, I still got alot of other stuff I want to buy.
