And today, in honour of this, I flew off a seatless stool I was pratting around with and landed on my wrist. It murdered, believe you me. After the initial screaming and telling people I was dying, I calmed down...
I rehearsed, I performed, I even went around the town on my dinner break. I went to the job centre and made a new CV. I was gonna go job hunting, but I really had to get back to college. I return, cradling my wrist, it's really hurt by now, and I'm immediately rushed to the hospital by a tutor. I've evidently turned grey with pain, and I can't stop sucking my thumb. I'd been walking around for five hours with a broken wrist!
I'm home now. On this site for the first time in days, typing with my left hand, and with a big cast on the other...
Good day, though.
Likely story mate.
We all know you was sneaking a crafty w**k in the cuboard and things turned pear shaped.
Serves you right for acting a fool.
First time I dived play tennis and bent my wrist into an S shape.
3 months later (Friday 3rd September), playing footy, I go for one of those oh-so-cool scissor kick thingies, (as a clearance mind) and landed (after a brilliantly flighted ball down the wing) on my wrist. Looked about an inch shorter.
Got to take an ambulance both times, and the best thing about it all? Having air 'n' gas. Or laughing gas, if you prefer. So... Good...
But I got metal pins this time. Dunno why they call 'em pins, they're much more like mini tent pegs.
Oh how I hate not being able to play PS2 / PC / Guitar / Piano.
Wrist breaking sucks.
