Ahohoho.

Everquest 2 has shown why great graphics can't work in MMORPG games. It, apparently (I've not got it myself) looks great, if you have a PC powerful enough to run it at full settings, many people have had to sacrifice allot to get the thing running at an acceptable frame-rate.

Besides that, the game also apparently sucks big time, with many of the subscribers abandoning the game in favour of World of Warcraft.

All the rest of the posts concern the look of it. ;)

I presonally think it looks quite good, and wouldn't mind a blast, but I'm not paying monthly subs.

Can't vouch for anyone else, but I certainly wasn't talking about graphics...

Umm.

I said the GAME is good but we're on about the graphics.

I'm being defensive because everyone else around here never accepts any one else’s opinion so why should I?

Yeah, I must admit, I've never been blown away by any MMORPGs graphics. WOW's graphics are relatively primative too.

In both cases (WOW, COH) I think both style are perfectly suited to the type of game. I wouldn't expect a fun, campy superhero game to be muted and dull. It should be almost primary colors.
