I was just wondering how many people have won gameaday. It would cool to make a league table of all the winners :)

Ages are there to be reached. You can't stop the tides of time, and neither can you push them onward.

You could however strive to be a much more mentally mature person. Not you in particular, I'm just saying. (:0=))

Nintendo immature because they put cartoon characters in their games! far from it, my point was that if you watch cartoons and play games 24/7 until your 20+ this might help if you make games for a living or if your a games journalist, but if you want to watch 18+ rated movies, then you've another thing coming! the thing is, if your not the legal age to buy something how can you be old enough to sell it? you might be mature but being mature isn't in the law, it's unfair but the people selling the 18+ games and other stuff had to wait as long as you will to get there, not really an amazing ambition though is it?

I don't think the questions will be "Do you watch the Simpsons?" or "Do you play computer games?"

It would be more moral dilemmas, and trying to figure out the best way to get through something. Maturity has nothing to do with what you enjoy doing. It's about how well you look after yourself and other people, and that you learn to be kind to everyone.

I find it amusing that Nintendo are considered immature because they use bright attractive colours for their textures. The games are fun, and that's all about it.

What er-no did was not the greatest example of maturity. He made a lot of work that Joe had to tidy up, and for no reason other for personal gain.

Comparing that to "bright colours" seems very strange, don't you agree? :o=)

yes but it could work the other way, when your 30 years old and your taking your wife to the cinema and they ask you for your maturity id, they turn you away because you played games since you were 12 and still watch re-runs of the simpsons. I'll shut up now.

I think it would be cool if we could apply for maturity tests. How on earth it could be judged though is something else.

Then you could walk into a film... "I'm sorry sir, you have to be very mature to see this film." "Why yes, here's my card which proves I'm very mature." "Oh yes, you may continue."

Cool. :D

I know I'm not old enough yet, but I

I've applied for about four jobs in the last year which turned me down because of this law, Dixons, Currys, Electroniques Boutique, PC World. It's very fair as most of the games they sell are for 18+ gamers, it's just like being too young to serve alcohol in a pub, or drink it for that matter.
