This game is teh roxor. I've been walking through an off track pathway shooting out angry french people's kneecaps so they go down quicker. No more sissy auto aim. Then as they collapse to their knees I run up and round house kick them across the face.

Then I arrived at the village, got mobbed by villagers with pitchforks and scythes. My clip ran out and there was no time to reload (you can't do that inventory reload 'cheat' now either) so I ran across the village and headed into a house and barricaded the door. Cue loony paper bag man appearing and waving a chainsaw around, other villagers bring ladders and set them up to the upstairs window.

I ponce around looking for items and chainsaw man cuts through my wooden barricade, narrowly avoiding him I run up stairs and grab a shotgun off the wall. Seeing villagers climbing the ladder and starting to get in the room I realised I'm trapped, so I run into a corner between the bed where they can't get behind me and pull out the shotgun.

Unfortunatly I was a bit too slow and chainsaw man promptly decapitates me, blood gushes everywhere and 'You Are Dead' appears on the screen.


You want this game.



Also of note, walking into a shack to find a woman pinned a few feet off the ground by means of a pitchfork through the face, "No sex discrimination here" says Leon..

Right Hand is a noble cause for a rocket to the fase.

Just had my first real challenge in the game. The hall with all the monks followed by the part where you have to protect that silly bint Ashley while she turns the cranks.

Thankfully she got caught in a trap shortly afterwards so I'll be free of her infernal wailing for a little while.

Right up to the 'Right hand man' bit now, got a bit tense knowing what was coming up so I switched it off for a bit. Got the Striker, Red9, Broken Butterfly and Semi-Auto, but only got a decent amount of ammo for the Handgun. Fortunately tho I have the Rocket Launcher from earlier on in the game, so I'll actually be able to kill the fiend this time around. :D

Okay, you win.
And the reload does indeed look sweet.

But ... well, nah, nevermind.

Your sarcasm is misplaced. Fine if you didn't enjoy the gun (have you used it?), but I thought it was great fun to use. The Semi-Auto is just like any other gun in an FPS, pull the trigger and watch the result, but the rifle makes such a satisfying sound, and then you pull out of the scope just in time to see your bullet having its effect off in the distance, before the ping and clank of the bolt action. It may not be as effective as the semi-auto but its a helluva lot more fun to use.

I found that bit hilarious.

Up to the firepit now, seem to be motoring thro the game this time around. Got my Broken Butterfly and everything :D

And then at the castle I could shoot them from long range, so I get to see everything anyway. Wow, no more head. Wish I'd seen this earlier.

No you don't need it, but its the most fun gun to use. You missed out big time not being able to shoot up Ganados from long range until the fortress.
