Of course I wouldn't want one in my back garden. Actually, there meant to be building one a few miles from my house. Out on the Fennick Moors or something.
With the way things have gone for him in the last year or so, he could be soon be clinging onto a frayed thread, if he's not too careful in his actions...
Giant wind-turbines do seem to be the best possible answer. As for appearence, I can't see much wrong with them, either. I can understand it if it's on someone's farm of something, but, out in the sea... Who's that really gonna affect?

It's kind of a case of everyone wanting cleaner energy, as long as nothing has to built in their back yards... Problem is where-ever you put something like this it's in someones bakc yard...
Also been things about how they apparently don't work inland because there isn't enough wind or whatnot, and they need to be out at sea to be effective. If that's true, fair enough, they're a waste of money, but people moaning how they destroy the beauty of the area... I mean would they prefer us to keep burning fossil fuels...?
On the original question... I don't know if Blair really gives a damn about the environment... I suspect not as much as some others.
