Anyone done this? I was thinking of doing it, simply because it looks good on paper. I'd be doing Gold Award. Looks like a lot of work though, and I'll have enough to do this year, but my parents will probably beat me if I don't do it.
So, what was it like to anyone who actually took part in it?

I went ATC too!!

I done my award but i didn't complete it or something like that.

It was so much fun! there were about 4 teams all set off at different points, we met at the campsite, stayed, then all went off in other directions. I remember that night, it was cold and 12 of us stayed in a 3 man tent, it got really hot, and was so funny!

I remember, for my skill, we went to a fire station for 10 weeks which was fun too.

I also did some bits with my school, like the expedition, just for the fun of it!

I recommend doing it, especially if your with mates, it is hard work but it's also so much fun and so so worth it!

I was going to do it also, but I tropped out of the Air Cadets too (not before going gliding and flying though, yey). I wasn't going to do it originally, but a guy I know is about to do his Gold, but he needs two more people to go on the expedition with him (minimum of 3), and I qualify, so I thought, might as well. It's one hell of a good award to have.

Oh it is good. Very good. And yes it does look good on paper.

If I had the opportunity to do it now, I would.

I almost did this while in the Air cadets. But I dropped out of the AC and never got round to doing the award.

I wish I did though.
