Kill bill? are you cheating and technichally going for 12 month period and combining two films. Still i mock the choice of kill bill especially if you meant the second one.
Having mocked you i will go for:
Lord of the rings return of the king - as although it is comercial it was highly enjoyable and if i cheat like you have and combine them all up they are the only timeless classics of the past year, and the scale is extremely impressive.
