The Drivers Championship is still on the line after Baumgartner felt the pressure at Belgium by spinning to the back of the field and scoring no points after a retirement but his main challenger Salo missed out of the chance to close the gap. The gap is still 10 points with 4 races remaining.
The Constructors Championship is totally wide open but one good race for any team at the front could give them a lead that might not get closed. There is still a maximum of 72 points available so the teams will have to be on their game.

As you would expect with every car the same, qualifying on a track with a lot of straight line speed, there isn't going to be much difference in times and qualifying proved it last year. All the cars were split by half a second and one mistake is obviously going to be costly this year.
Last year, Fisichella showed why he is one of the best qualifiers in SR F1 by taking pole position ahead of Raikkonen and Heidfeld. As Baumgartner and Salo weren't racing last year, let's concentrate on their teams. Minardi's were 5th and 11th and MG's were 7th and 22nd. Other notable mentions are Villeneuve 15th, Barrichello 20th, Button 18th, Ralf Schumacher 13th, Pizzonia 12th and Montoya 10th.
The race saw Coulthard come through from 6th on the grid to win ahead of Heidfeld, who always seems to do well in the last 6/7 races of the season, and Frentzen in 3rd. Minardi's finished 10th and the other retired. MG's finished 9th and the other retired. Some notable mentions include Villeneuve 16th, Barrichello 15th, Button 11th, Ralf Schumacher retired, Pizzonia retired and Montoya 5th.

As always with SR F1, the most important people are you, the loyal players who spend their time reading what I post and following your driver through good times and bad. If you have any ideas that you would like to see implemented, please make them known. I'm always looking to improve the spectacle and I need you lot to add fresh ideas. Either post them in SR F1 topics or email them to me if you have my email address. If you don't have my address, someone you know probably will have.
