"Bored of my DS already."

No, this isn't a wind-up. 24 hours after getting it, I'm kind of bored of it.

There's nothing wrong with the console at all. Really like it. Just for some reason I'm well, just BORED of it. Perhaps it's a few more games that are needed but right now I've got a very desirable Door Stop.

Ended up playing Fifa 2005 and Project Gotham 2 on the Xbox instead...

The games just lack depth for a handheld system.

Quite possibly, but that's really odwn to how rough the owner treats the DS rather than a crappy drive giving up.

I definitely wouldn't want to play anything which involved blowing on the console in public.

As it is I worry about people blowing moisture on something electronic. It probably says in the manual about keeping it moisture free so it's a little ironic really.

Perhaps Ninty have finally taken the Sony route and are hoping for a lot of replacements being required.....

Absolutely. Which is why the quick 20 minute games are great. And probably explains why I've been playing the minigames so much. I'm sure that WarioWare will be a great title for the console.

I rather like Mario on the DS actually. Works fine for me (and I've mastered the control method now).
