A lot of people buy any old thing at launch.

That's why Ubi released that awful unfinished racer for the DS launch and that's why Cel Damage was retailing for 40 quid.

It'd have to be a VERY cheap launch title I'd imagine.

If it comes out at the end of 2005 it'd probably need a 3 month exclusivity contract.

It's not due out till the end of the year.

New consoles will be round the corner come mid 2006.

Perhaps it'll be an 'exclusive'.

ie after 6 months it won't be.

The last one wasn't GC exclusive but apparently this one is.

I'm surprised SAMMY are letting SEGA make an exclusive game for the Gamecube!

I'm looking forward to it. A few rumours circulating about a new Sonic Adventure or some kind of 2D/3D mixture. It did say that it was going to be a new game, so I'd assume it's not going to be a release of some back catalogue games like some Saturn/Dreamcast games or Sonic CD.

Whether it's multiformat or not, who knows? My theory is it will be a GC exclusive for a little while and then get a release on the others.

Still, I look forward to the news over the next few months.

I'd think it probably is. There's nothing there to say it isn't.
