No one has told this person that the DC and PS2 are more powerful than an N64

I think it would be cool if there was a place on Special Reserve where we could set up votes that last for ages about anything we want.

We could have votes like "What game has the best weapons?" or the dreaded console wars one: "What is the best ever console?"

Then users could vote themselves and we would be able to see what people currently think.

And if people change their minds, then they can vote again and their original vote will be cancelled. This wouldn't be too hard to do because the SR system already recognises different users by their email addresses.

Of course, Tony, Ali and the rest of the SR staff would be able to moderate the votes so that no one posts the same as another open vote and the content may need to be checked (Cos you know what some people can be like).

Anyway, this is just an idea, not sure whether it would actually take place though.

I think that topics like this should have a warning on them!

something like:-

'*WARNING NEWBIE TOPIC*Lets run a vote for the uk no1 console'

Yeah, that would do it!

The newbies could argue it away until they'd come to the same conclusions as the rest of us.

Using the N64 to start off a console war isn't a brilliant idea, and saying that it is the best console out there just makes it worse. Of course, it is your opinion, but it just can't cut it anymore. Don't get me wrong, it is a good console, with Goldeneye and Perfect Dark still two of the best games that I have played, but the PS2 is here, and will be churning out some class games soon (hopefully).
And another problem is that Nintendo are puuting all of their effort into the GameCube and practically forgetting about the N64.
And lets not forget the Xbox, which could turn out to be the ultimate console, with a lot of well known developers signed up to make games for it, and some are looking really good.
And, although it isn't being made anymore, the Dreamcast still has a lot to offer, with loads of brilliant games out for it.
I'm sorry, but at the moment, I'm sticking by my PS2.

Should Fishstick's tagline be "The Third Plaice" ?

I reckon every time this comes up, I get to use my corny plaice joke again.

Is that enough deterrent :-?

It's been done... and done... and done... and done... and done... and done...

And it never solves a darn thing.

I don't like to be hostile to newbies, but try something original, pretty please?!
