It takes time and effort to clean up Discussions when somebody abuses it.

er-no has been warned on numerous occassions for posting adverts and spamming the site with literally hundreds of repeat messages. Just garbage.

The boy who is er-no is welcome to continue posting on this site. However, his registration will be/has been cancelled, so he will need to sign up again in order to continue here. He will need to use a different name.

Pity - I quite like er-no. But we can't spend our time cleaning up after him.

We don't actually remove the registration, we just block the abilty to log in and use it. This stops people from signing up with the same nickname.

I have now modified the system to display 'Registration Removed!' for registrations that have this blocking.

'Idtentification Revoked'

You could also consider disqualifying people who write offensive/abusive posts aswell......?

You won't see them because most of them have been deleted.

Here's one from The World's Longest Thread. I can only see 15 or so of these, but people assure me that we cleaned up a batch last week and on previous occassions. It's causing us a lot of work.
