And some non-contact sports.

3 months ago, broke my wrists playing tennis. Snapped both bones... 6 weeks later, I was told; "In 4 weeks you can play contact sports again."

I wait 5.

And then, about a minute into a football match, pain searing through my wrist, looking considerably shorter, I'm thinking s**t.

Now, 4 days after that, I have 3 metal wires sticking into my arm, and a hugely big cast up to my elbow.

No contact sports for a year, either. Which sucks.

I love contact sports. And non-contact sports...

do you have the most respect for pocket biliards? exercises your most important muscles. wouldn't want to sustain an ijury though. Never damage down below but snapping your banjo sounds scary and painful

It's one of the sports I respect most, as well as gymnastics (which I respect way more), becasue it uses most of the muscles in the body, whereas in others you may only need half of them.
And stuff.

Well i blew out both knees after mocking a guy all game and when i was dunking he decided that'd be the time to run into my legs making me flip over and land straight down on top of both knees, even now they still hurt. Meh got my own back on him the following year by elbowing him straight in the adam's apple and sending him to the hospital

Broken fingers were as a result of playing games sideways along the court with the baskets on the side of the sports hall and when i was on defence i grabbed a loose ball only for the fat kid to topple over and crush my hands against the wall, ball and massive amounts of blubber. Not too serious though that one, still finished the game just had to shoot left handed rest of the game.

snapped ankle was a result of me diving for a loose ball only for my mate to fall down right on top of it

and 2 concussions were due to me jumping for loose balls and landing on the bench with the back of my head after tripping over someone behind me and the third was just a straight blow to the face with the ball when i decided to try and steal it with my nose :-D

Oh also that's not taking into account the 2 concussions i got from baseball after being beaned in the head.

Should try playing basketball, apparently a no-contact sport in 8 years of playing i've:

blown out both knees
3 broken fingers
snapped ankle
and 3 concussions

i have a fun and entertaining wrist strengthening exercise i can recommend, and better still you can practise it in the comfort of your own room. However it is rumoured to have detrimental effects on your eye sight
