I just thought I'd celebrate my 300th post - and hence, myself becoming a regular by starting a new topic.

I notice quite a few USER BANNEDs as I stroll through the forums. One was my sparring partner in the make-up-an-advert game on the Movies forum. I just wondered... what does it take for someone to do to become banned?

No answer. Must have been joking. Either way, atleast I know some of the boundaries not to cross now. A meaningful thread.

I'll take that as you are taking the mick of people who have done that and got band and / or showing what you could get banned for.

The worst ones are those who just post line after line of repetitive pointlessness- thay're the worst. Although the ones who try insulting you are pretty bad as well.

Anyone remember Bash? He was with us one night. He totally messed up the Movies forum, swore at people, and only made one "friend". One night, that's all it took, and he was banned.

Excessive swearing, posting pointless rubbish, insulting people... all sorts of things will get you banned. To be honest, to be banned you just have to be a complete jerk on the forums for long enough for it to become clearly noticable.

Oh, is that why he's suddenly user warned?
