Anyone else watching this tonight? I've seen bits and pieces before, and it has two of my favourite actors in (Edward Furlong and Edward Norton). Also, I'm curious to see the head-stomping scene. It does look very good, can't wait.

Well, as long as we're singing from the same hymn sheet.

Great film, yus. It seemed over pretty quickly, though - and didn't really say very much.

Even though you didn't actually see anything, the head-stomping did make me cringe like anything. Ouch.

That was cringey, when Norton's head is smacked against the wall in the infamous shower scene.

And yes Borat, we have got the same hymn sheet. The teacher gave it us, remember?

Yeah, what's the deal with the frequent slo-mo throughout American History X? Kind of corny.

I thought it wasn't too bad, but used a little too much - eg. when he was showering. What was the point of seeing water drip off of his face in slow-mo? Would've been put to better effect on the curb scene or something.

The ending was horrible :(

i saw it a while ago though, very clever film indeed and again well acted by edward norton he is really growing as an actor and his parts also.

I found it also hard to watch - I mean its not pleasant is it? But it happens

Good clever and sick

The ending came out of nowhere - I didn't expect it by any means, but I guess that it really does work considering the pain Norton's character put blacks in general through with the whole head-stomping thing being just one example. It's all about cummupance.

Also, the director sued New Line for $280m dollars because they wouldn't let him use the psuedonym "Humpty Dumpty". ARFLES.
