"American History X - BBC 2 - 10:30pm"

Anyone else watching this tonight? I've seen bits and pieces before, and it has two of my favourite actors in (Edward Furlong and Edward Norton). Also, I'm curious to see the head-stomping scene. It does look very good, can't wait.

I watched Payback instead, which I hadn't seen for quite a while. Classic.


Hubba Hubba Hubba

It was a good watch the first time but I couldn't help feeling they over emphasised and glamourised the view from the facists in the film.

It was a weak anti message in the end I felt.

Fair play, it's just people said it was really disturbing.

It's a black man he stomps. I think there's a crunching sound, but can't remember. Who knows, BBC may cut the sound if it's there.

Anyway, you don't need sound effects to appreciate how powerful the film is.

Not a Jew, a black guy who was breaking into his car.

Excellent film. But I can't help but laugh at when they show Norton when he's younger. All they do is put him in baggy clothes and give him longer hair and a cap. Looks rediculous.
