Did alright in the last world cup, if it wasn't for a blind ref not seeing that german handball it on the line they might have got into the semi's and who knows from there. They're no longer the pushovers they once were (though even then England still couldn't beat them :-D)

That was truly an awful display for the final 20 minutes, emphasising where we need to improve and focus.
Could be fr the best, putting the heat on us for the next few games.

Because he's not apparently a very good motivational person. Someone like Gordon Strachan or Graeme Souness would be able to get more out of our current players than I think he does.
I'm all for giving him this qualifying campaign as a final chance, but if we don't take 2nd place, he should be out.
