I got a last minute invite to a friend of a friend's 18th birthday party.
The catch? theres a dress theme
"Urgh" I hear you cry "count me out" - but theres free alcohol and a girl there I was to pork - so im going to go.
The theme is 70's/punk dress so I have to find something retro or cut up some jeans and appear sex-pistol-ish
Any suggestions?

New years eve parties pwn for fancy dress
Went as a hippy one year, then 118 for the next.

Also wore the hippy outfit for school, once. Then some guy wore a dress to try and emulate me. Fool.

I love fancy dress parties. No, I'm not a fruit, a bummer or a fan of lily savage. But it's class when everyone makes an effort and goes the extra mile. Some of the costumes I've seen people wear are bloody hilarious.
It's become a yearly tradition on Halloween and I'm currently fishing for ideas for this years.
70s theme parties are a bit cliche, aren't they? How many medallion/afro/hawaiian shirt wearing freaks can you fit in one house?
