As if arsenal didnt already have enough flair players, along comes another one.Dutch U21 international is a lithe and skilful performer who can play up front or on the left wing "He has a great left foot and is a great passer with excellent vision" says Wenger, who paid Feyenoord £3 million for him.
Dunno why I didn't spot that the first FOUR TIMES. Auto pilot I guess...
If he can cement a place in the Arsenal squad, then this lad has a very bright future.
LEEDS: Danny Pugh
Exchanged from Manchester United for Alan Smith. Pugh can be played in either Defence or Midfield, he is so far Leed's top scorer this season, scoring more goals than all 3 strikers put together (they've scored none). The player is constantly going forward and causing all sorts of problems to the opposition. AT just 21 years of age the future is bright for this young star.
LEEDS: Matthew Killgannon
First there was Smith, then Milner... but the early departure of both gives England Under 21 star Matthew Killgannon a spot in the lime light. At just 20 years of age Killgannon is almost guarenteed a future place in the Central Defence of a future England squad.
LEEDS: Simon Walton
16 years of age and absolutly terrified Valencia in pre-season. You go my son.
LEEDS: Scott Carlson
19 today. Carlson is the England Under 21 Goalkeeper and is currently being groomed by ex-scotland internation keeper neil sulivan.
LEEDS: Frazer Richardson
Again 21, often picked for the U21 England squad and a fantastic right back, being groomed by ageing superstar Gary Kelly.
LEEDS: Jamie Mcmaster
21, England U21 midfielder. Pretty much the same as above.
OK slight bias here... but give these players a season or 2 and LEEDS'll be a strong force again. If the golden oldies currently making up Leeds United don't get the team back into the premiership, these lot will.
After Ronaldo,Romario, and Ruud van Nistelrooy,Kezman has now graduated from PSV Eindhoven's finishing school for strikers. The Serbian international scored 105 goals and was voted the 2003 Dutch Player of the Year during his four seasons in Holland. However,he needs to raise his game in the Champions League where he hasnt scored in his last 12 appearances
