Yes I know, this has been posted many times before and people have willingly took part in telling us what applications are worth downloading/purchasing. But what the hell, may as well do it again huh?

AVG <- Free anti virus
Adware <- Spyware, tracking cookie remover
Spywareblaster <- Stops annoying things from happening to Netscape/IE/Mozilla

ATItool <- ATI Graphics overclocker
Prime 95 <- Use the torture test to test system stability (especially after overclocking)

Sandra Sisoft 2004 <- general benchmarking suite
Zone Alarm <- Firewall
3D Mark 03 <- Graphical benchmarker
Windows Media Player <- forget Tinny Winamp and Crashy Musicmatch
Divx Player <- Theres no better way to watch those eer movies...
Power DVD <- The 5.1 version rocks...

More than 10 no doubt. The ones I use regularly anyway.

AVG - Free Anti virus program
Adaware - Removes spyware
IE
iTunes - For all my music needs
WINSCP - Used to allow me to upload/download to and from my uni hard disk space and webspace.

WinRAR - For compressing and unraring files.
Outlook Express - e-mail
MSN - talking to random folk about random stuff when bored.
Firefox - Did use netscape as an extra browser for uni work but this one seems better

2.:.Adware - keeps all them nastys away.

3.:.Dreamweaver MX 2004 - great tool for making websites

4.:.Fireworks MX 2004 - photographic editing.

5.:.Goldwave - great music editor for free.

6.:.winmx - super at finding music

7.:.MSN messenger - just great
