my life has been plagued, since I am the youngest member of my family i'm always the last to get things thrwon at me, and when it comes to batteries my electrial equipment have hell! since I always buy adapters i see no sense in buying batteries but always feel the urge to take my stuff out on journey around the globe, etc, etc. My gameboy is never on due to it's more than faulty power packs, I have bought 5 to date and can't wait until electricty can move from the hole in the wall straight to my gameboy without cables or my fingers. Can anyone suggest where I can buy some kind of child to be my power supply or a decent power adapter which fits my pretty useless non colour gameboy pocket?

I have a battery powered laptop, kinda a PC. not much good thouigh, infact it would be better without a battery.

Does anybody here have a battery powered PC?

My adpator works fine. Just keep it on the charger when your not using it.

I've tried pretty much everything, it's as if they don't like my GB, I can't use the powerpak that replaces the 2AA batteries holder thing, as my GB is only simple and not colour.

It's called a powerpack, and I got one from SR in a GB travelling pack!

Actual;ly I have some friends down the raod and they have a Gameboy Colour, they have this thingy that you charge up overnight, and when it has been fully charged you can replace the batteries cover on the back of your gameboy with this 2xAA battery shapped power unit...I have searched SR but I couldn't find it.

You know what I mean though, the unit looks like it has two rechargable batteries in a plastic mould, they clip onto the batteries cover thing and you put the lead into the bottom of the GBC to power it.

SR should really sell this, it really is great....period.

Try getting a decent powerpack, best ones are usually Logic 3, but you can find some decent ones from over companies as well.

Before recharging your 'faulty' ones, did you make sure ALL power had been used up in them?
