Clive Woodward is resigning.


And he's apparently wanting to/will be taking over to manage a football team.

And they (ie, the evil non-believable media) are giving out reports that it will likely be a Premiership team.
I find that extremely difficult to believe, but if it is true...

Heh, I bet he starts pilfering from his old club too, like Mourinho. So we'll have Johnny Wilkinson starting in midfield for Southampton, in place of Fabrice "Flick me and I'll drop" Fernandes.

I think the actual idea is that they involve him in the club first, not as manager, and leave the 'head coach' system in place for a bit. Then, perhaps, when he gets a much better knowledge of the game, they may involve him in the management side of the club. Possibly even coach.

I doubt very much they will put him straight in as coach! The two games are totally different, obviously.

I think on Sky Sports News it says he has been linked with Southampton, but not for a managers job but a coach or some thing.

He'll do some thing to the more tactical side.
