I was wondering what people would choose broadband 1 mb or sky would would you have?

Suppose so if all you're doing is browsing the net. If you want Xbox Live or do a lot of downloading, you may find it'll get used up pretty quick...

PlusNet, [URL]http://www.plusnet.co.uk[/URL] - the cheapest, unlimited service available, and one of the best too. I'm moving to them as soon as my BT contract expires.

I have both, athome. But only have crappy anytime for the internet at Uni. Considering getting broadband now that wanadoo offers 1mb broadband for £17.99 a month!

We have both. Does make me a bad person?

I fu r a student living with 4 plus people, both Sky and Broadband ae a must. Its pretty cheap when you split the cost!

I have both. We got Sky first but now I'd recommend you get Broadband before any kind of TV package.

ALL the music channels have been ruined by ringtone ads and pointless shows (I remember when uninterrupted music videos was a reality). Most of the other channels show either repeats, crap or repeats of crap.

Very rarely do I watch TV anymore.

Broadband on the other hand is excellent. Download the stuff you want, play online games (via PC or console), unlimited porn...

You can't get better than Broadband right now - it's the best form of entertainment available.

I've had standard speed Broadband for a year now. Never had Sky, though I did have cable for a couple of months back in about 1995.
