i can't help but feel their parents (where appliccable) are only exacerbating the problem.. well, to be fair by donating DNA they were already making themselves to blame.

OK, when you see Jewish people in cartoons they have the big top hats, the big beard, the long hair.
They just showed pictures from a strong Jewish community, when you think of a 'stereotypical Jew' you think exactly that, top hat, etc. The jews they just showed were exactly that.
It's like you've got normal Russian person who's just as normal as you and I, and you've got the stereotypical Russian with their fur jackets and stuff...
