Y'see I have my Practical Driving Test tommorow and I really need to pass this...thang.
1) I need to get to work, cannot stand the damn bus anymore.
2) To be able to spread my wings and go anywhere - independence.
3) For leisure purposes.
4) I want my god damn car!
5) Learning is just getting expensive now.
I started my lessons last Novemeber, been having 1hr 1/2 lessons weekly since. In this time I've drove many places, my legendary journey being Southend (Essex) to Southampton.
Walked into the theory thing, passed it first time, walked out. Done, dusted, kabam, kaboom, goodbye. Then this Practical thing comes along...
Oh how great it would be to pass first time, but is this going to happen? No, probably not. I'll fluff up somewhere, once or twice, either that or the test guy will fail me for something I didn't see. From storys I've heard it could be like my 5th time when I pass.
So come on, share your storys, tips, whatever. Got this test tommorow and I need to attack it like a wild...dog.
I reckon there are so many retards who can drive, I must be able to do it, right?
I was on the left hand side of the road in the right hand lane.
If you're driving on the wrong side, it kinda is a bit of a danger to other drivers...
5 Minor faults, manouvers were perfect.
" I'm afraid you strayed out the 'normal driving position' for just too long "
i.e I never went back to the left hand side of the road fast enough.
Better not fail, too expensive.
He gave me a serious because I positioned my car in the middle of a one way street when turning right at the end. Now apparently you need to place your car on the right hand side so cars behind going left can come up along side me and go left. However, what makes this all so stupid is the fact the road couldn't possibly fit 2 cars next to each other anyway.
