...George Lucas has revealed, after much speculation that after Return of the Sith that he would go back and start work on Episode 7,8,9. He had said he 'always felt the story should go on' and that he would 'love' to continue the saga...Oh well I gave up after the second prequel and Jar Jar Binks

By the time of A New Hope, all the Stormtroopers were meant to be trained Humans. If I remember right I think Solo was an Imperial naval officer, but was dismissed for saving Chewbacca's life when he found him being beaten by a load of other officers.
I think that by the time of A New Hope that some Stormtroopers are recruited humans. It is known that Han Solo is an ex-stormtrooper in some books or something I think.
I can't understand how all the storm troopers are clones of Jango Fett - this agile, fearsome bounty hunter. Look at the first scene in A New Hope for crying out loud - they're ridiculously incompetent!
