This announcement in itself is nothing new, but what Capcom plan to do is to actually release these games at the same time. They plan to have all of the games pretty much the same too.
They believe that releasing all on the same date, and working on all formats at the same time will significantly reduce development costs, and advertising costs.
Another recent Capcom announcement was to state their intention to develop online games for the next generation consoles, with Resident Evil Online being in the pipeline.
If we but these two comments together, then it looks very likely that we could have online games between Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft owners sooner than we could have realistically hoped for! In fact, these games will probably be released at some point next year!
Can anyone forsee any problems with this....?
Pb has one too. So that makes three.
Anyone else?

Was any of that sarcastic, as my tagline says, I am a Nintendo fan. Dis them and you have to go through me! *o*

Naa... the only problems will be (as ever) with lag...
Any console specific information can be handled by the local program...
As long as the program knows what all the information it recieves is about...
Even if the console doesnt support that particular feature, as long as the local program knows to ignore it, everything will be cool...
