I assume from the response that the tagline is well received. Well done Rakuga for suggesting it.

But - every time you change your tagline it changes everywhere on the site.

Do you think this is right.

Or should the tagline only change in your subsequent posts, like your alias would if you changed that. (It does, doesn't it?)

State your preference and I'll have a word with El Grande Greigomatico.

You could always add Signatures to messages...

You could then both add a lot of user info...

And allow for larger User Defined Tag Lines...

Although...

It may make things look a touch messy?

Tony, to fit all these in you'll have to increase the size of the post box, so to speak.

Surely this will look a little odd, if it's a one line reply and there is about 5 lines of space, just so all the info could fir down the side.

How about having the infor come up along the bottome of the box with the post in? Jusy above the links to reply etc?

How about one Global Tagline - it changes on all of your posts. And one Local Tagline - stays with the post(s) to apply it to?

My tagline is the best!!!!

ZIGGY (I may change my name to david bowie's character after my exams, and then try to become a notable- eg post every day of summer!)

Maybe it could be worked so that the extra info is only displayed it the length of the post justified it?

Many other forums do have that info (apart from the tag) so it shouldn't be that big a problem.

Tony, about eight or seven months ago, changed the forums so the newest post was at the top, and the oldest at the bottom. Initally, I hated it. Now, I love it. :0)

Trust Tony.

Would there be enough room on a short post for the list of information people suggested?
