I've continously heard about The Prem getting slated, but I've always thought it was good.
Now that the BBC have taken back hold of the reins, they've slapped a 2 onto the end of the old favourite's name. Why - I'm not quite sure.
Anyway, yeah. For me it's The Premiership.
Granted, we've seen little of the new MOTD, but ssh.

Well, maybe I'm on my own here, but I'd rather they spent money on decent coverage of the national sport than on 24-7 minority music channels and kids television!

Thing is, the BBC isn't just about football, however surprising that might be. It can't give up on it's other aims and purposes just to try and compete with the ludicrously wealthy Sky.
BBC easily, ITV sucks in every possible iteration.
Between the start of the season and the end of December, we are set to be shown 11 times in total. Only 3 of those are home games.
And when it comes to Arsenal v Spurs, they usually ALWAYS seem to show the game at WHL only.
The home team gets the larger share of the TV fees, and I can only assume that Sky don't like giving Arsenal money.
But otherwise, theor live coverage is far better than ITV or BBC. They have a build-up before the game, and they don't disappear right after the final whistle. Unlike both BBC and ITV.

Although Sky has totally stolen the BBC's thunder with this football first. They had already shown 3 full games before motd started last night and you had extended highlights at 10:15 of your choice.
The Premiership was ruined by adverts - as is any ITV program.
And MOTD is spoiled by the presenters. I've heard more insightful discussion down the pub.
