My Windows Media Player messed up (Internal Application Error - whatever that is) so I decided to get Winamp because I was fed up with Windows crap. So I downloaded it, and its all well, until I try and rip some songs of my Slayer CD. 25 minutes to rip 8 songs! Avgerage length - 3.5 minutes. That is pathetic. Media player only takes one fifth of that time. So I reinstalled Media player.
Conclusion - Both are b*****s.

It really is. It's very concise, doesnt have loads of "BUY WINAMP PLUS FOR £79 RIGHT NOW! CLICK HERE LATER BUY NOW!" or other assorted nonce-sense.

Download Quintessential Player from Downloads.com, it's much more efficient for just playing music and has some very nice skins.
