My Windows Media Player messed up (Internal Application Error - whatever that is) so I decided to get Winamp because I was fed up with Windows crap. So I downloaded it, and its all well, until I try and rip some songs of my Slayer CD. 25 minutes to rip 8 songs! Avgerage length - 3.5 minutes. That is pathetic. Media player only takes one fifth of that time. So I reinstalled Media player.
Conclusion - Both are b*****s.

To rip songs from CD use DB power amp (I think it covers that)

else use real player.

Winamp is best for playing songs, no doubt, but not for ripping - its not what its really intended for man.

It's fine for me. Just adjust a few settings here and there.

You need a keygen RoJ, the unregistered version limits ripping speed.
