Nintendo of America Inc. provides product support for the United States and

the North American version of the Nintendo DS system. However, as your
feedback is extremely important to Nintendo, we have forwarded your e-mail to
the appropriate departments for further review. While they may not be able to
respond personally to your e-mail, your comments will be heard.

The sleep mode will be in the European one, so that if someone nearby wants to play, your DS will make a noise. Kind of unfair.
We were just making fun. :-)
> I have two mates who imported DSs like me, thankyou verr much :)
Yeah but the issue here is that these guys will tell you first, I mean a random guy who happens to be sitting on the same bus is probably not gonna challenge you.
Then again, they may.
And as for the other type of playing, well thats what Mrs Tphi is for. :P
Who was ever going to play with YOU anyway! :-P
The thing is, I can't imagine anyone challenging me to a game without talking to me face to face first.
Maybe in a future utopia where we all carry out game machines with us at all times, ready for the next challenge that might come my way.
I know I'd loved all this wireless/sleep/etc when people were wandering around with their Pokémon games. Just to challenge random people without even meeting them, and slaughtering their Pokémon (that they probably used a "Rare Candy" cheat to level up) while going about my every day business!
