General Studies - E

U stands for Unclassified.

On some exam boards they do put things like "unclassified" or "no result" just to be pedantic.

No they didn't, they gave you a "U", and as far as I'm aware that's a letter of the alphabet.

I was going to post something this year about A Lvel results, but looks like I missed the moment. This is what I would have posted:

A Level Predictions

1) Pass rate goes up.
2) Number of people getting A grades go up.
3) Decline in people taking sciences, increase in those taking mickey mouse subjects.
4) Girls hugging over a peice of paper.
5) Girl crying over a peice of paper.
6) Interviews with people who had 6 As but couldn't get into their first choice.
7) Media headlines asking if A Levels are getting easier, etc etc.


Turns out most was true. I reckon it'll be the same next year. And the year after.

In actual fact, the A2 exams are set to a higher standard than the old A level exams, to make up for the lower standard of the AS modules.

took 2 years out mate, was doing pretty much nothing, just playing my guitar,

And if you're in your second year at Uni (like you said in the other thread), you'd have been one of the first groups to sit the AS/A2 system.
