I found out that these rap artists 'could' be in the GTA: San Andreas Soundtrack:

Boyz II Men, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, Limp Bizkit, Busta Rhymes, Outkast, kris kross, Kid Rock (for some reason) and Nelly.

Sounds like a good lineup...(excuse the pun)

The chat stations were fantastic, but 80's music truly, truly sucks big time.

The music was great... If you like 80s stuff, that is.

The music was indeed terrible on Vice City. However the radio stations were actually brilliant.

The Vice City soundtrack was godawful. SA seems to be a slight improvement, but it was so much better playing GTA on Xbox with your own custom soundtrack. You can't beat fleeing from the pigs with the theme tune to Starsky and Hutch blaring!

The soundtrack sounds rather scary to me.

I'm gonna have to start wearing large fake-god chains/medallions, 'phat' trainers and put on around 100 pounds if I have any desire to enjoy the soundtrack.

Eminem and Nelly were both around in the early 90's, they just weren't signed to big record labels. The stuff I've heard of Nelly's was actually really good before he was shoved into the pop charts.

Anyway I heard that the soundtrack won't be made to match the time the game's set in like Vice City anyway.

Its set in early 90's, so rule out Eminem and Nelly

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
