Which song first sparked your interest in a band? Whenever I listen to an album, I always remember the song which either made me interested in the band, or made me buy that album.

The most prominent ones for me are;
Muse - Hysteria
Switchfoot - Meant To Live (perhaps their only good song)
Yellowcard - Way Away
American Hi-Fi - The Art Of Losing
Three Doors Down - Love Me When I'm Gone
Brand New - Jude Law And a Semester Abroad
HoobaStank - The Reason

So what are yours?

For me it's no quite so much an introductary song, most of the time, more often seeing that an album has good reviews and is reccomended to me. Nevertheless, here comes a list of as many of the so-called "Introductary Songs" as I can remember.

Metallica- Battery
Black Sabbath- Devil & Daughter
Nirvana- Serve The Servants
Deep Purple- Smoke On The Water
Whitesnake- Is This Love?
Rainbow- Long Live Rock 'N' Roll
Judas Priest- Breaking The Law

Yes. Few.

Hoobastank - the reason
Lostprophets - last train home
chillies - around the world
daft punk - around the world :P
The cure - pictures of you
Brand New - Good To Know That If I Ever Need Attention All I Have To Do Is Die
