I'm intending to pick up a copy of Dreamweaver ...

Since I'm currently using V1.2 I figured it was about time I moved up a notch :) ...

However Ive noticed that there is now Dreamweaver and Dreamweaver Ultra Dev...

From what I can gather Ultra Dev is an enhanced Dreamweaver app...

But am I missing the point somewhere? ...

Anyone help?

Beginners? Point out the Coldfusion reference library and SQL primer, then let me know if you get an answer other than "uh?". My mate struggles with HTML, show him asp/php pages with databases and he's liable to collapse.

I have Ultra Dev and i don't think it differs that much.

I think it is more for beginners.

I probably shouldn't post any URl's on a public forum ;)

ICQ me sometime if you want. (56365841)

Yeah, quick quote -
」269.99 for DW4
」468.99 for Ultradev 4

Not really worth it unless you're sure you'll want the extras, unless you have money to burn..

」lots...
Need it for some hosting too, with NTL's portscans and restrictions on running daemons. 」110/month for 2mbps, break even on that ok with design work. My dad will pay some too, I guess. Or just not use it. Muahaha.

Nope, nothing intrusive on the UI, looks pretty much identical to standard DW with the exception of a small bar at the top with shortcuts to debugging scripts and reference manuals etc. If you think you might need/want the extra features at some point, and can afford it, get Ultradev. Depends how much you value the extras.
