"The word from inside Liverpool's Melwood traing camp is that Benitez has made his mark by breaking up a so-called Scouse "clique" involving Owen, Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher and Danny Murphy."
You absolute git. If I find out that you SOLD Owen rather than him leaving, then I'll shoot you. In the face.
Breaking up a "Scouse clique?"
WE'RE A SCOUSE CLUB YOU F**KING SPANISH GIT.
I'm angry.

So that's how it is with you, I suppose if Man Utd finish outside of the Top 3 you'll support City next season. Even if Rafa is a Spanish genius, which I'm severely doubting at the moment, the fact is Liverpool aren't getting Owen back, one of their most legendary assets.
Anyway, nobody gives a crap what you think, you're an idiot. Perhaps you should come down to the Conference to see some passionate football rather than supporting both Man Utd AND Inter.
Pfft.
Wouldn't it be ironic if Livepool knocked Real Madrid out of the Champs League at the semi-final stage? I think it'd be comedy if when the final whistle went Stevie leans over to Mikey and stage-whispers "That medal you wanted so much? I'm going to have one. Carragher's going to have one. Hell, even Sinima-Pongolle's going to have one. And you're not. Oh, and guess what? I'm going to mail one to Danny Murphy as well. But not you. Oh, and Barcelona won La Liga. Tough luck. Here's a cushion for the bench."
> Oh, and Vampyr, you're a retard.
"..I was very happy with Michael and I wanted him to stay. The problem was he only had a year left on his contract.."

I would say your blame should lie with Mr Owen for not sorting out his contract and asking for too much money.
> i represent that
Such honesty is refreshing :)
While I'm heartbroken over Murphy I am not saddened by Owen going. I'm more excited by the up coming season then I have been for a while. Fresh manager, fresh ideas, out with the old, in with the new. I'm positively bouncing at the prospect of tomorrows game and have already booked my seat in the pub.
'Course that feeling could change by 4.45 pm tomorrow.
Rafa in his interview today, said that he wanted Owen to STAY, and praised how good a footballer and proffesional he was.
Also, the news doing the rounds is that negotiations broke down between Owen and Liverpool over MONEY. Yes, the same money that Owen said wasn't a factor. Again, it could be neither, but let's not jump the gun accusing Rafa now :)
As regards to keeping breaking up the Scouse "clique", that's not true! Don't let your eyes be soiled Stryke, we need the strongest guard against the Cockneys and Mancs as possible :D
Finally, in keeping a Scouse core at the club, he's been blooding the Reserves in the team, who I believe, will have a MUCH bigger say than when Houllier was here. These players are for the present and the future, and will be here for years to come, I'm sure.
With all the speculation being banded about by people clutchint at straws for a story, we should ignore all of that, and give Rafa the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure we'll get more news as to the Owen transfer, but for now, let's get behind the man, and not support someone who is on his way to Madrid (even though I wish Owen EVERY success at real, and I hope he does great).
I still think Liverpool is going in the right direction, or at least has stopped being led in the wrong direction by Houllier. If he does go next season, and another manager is drafted in, more players could be sold, ruining the team spirit of the club.
Oh, and Vampyr, you're an idiot.
