Nice, eh? I reckon it's all ok, but if any of you guys could tell me whether there are compatability issues or key components that I've missed, I'd appreciate it. Also, if you know of anywhere to get any of these cheaper, then please say (unless the product is stocked by Special Reserve, in which case, keep it shtun).

Also - for cooling, aside from a CPU cooler, how do I know what size fans I should get and how many? I'm not sure whether the specification on the case tells me this or not, and I don't know how many I would need for a cool case.

Thanks a lot.

6800s can run on a high quality 350W PSU - I wouldn't trust a cheap 500W one to do the job and certainly not if I was overclocking. If you're going to buy a 500W PSU then it has to be a good one, and that is going to cost a lot more than fifty quid. I'd go for an X800 myself because that avoids ridiculous power requirements.

http://www.nordichardware.com/reviews/PSU/2003/roundup2/index.php?ez=4 for a review of it. Seems alright to me, it's just probably gone down in price.

The review says it all really, Antec TrueControl 550W. Really dont be a cheapo when it comes to the PSU. Under heavy load cheap PSUs will fail and cause system instability while the Antec will just keep everything under control.

Also DVD Recorder is out of date in terms of what it can do. Pioneer(108) have just released a 16x +R, 16x -R and 4x DL for about £70 on online shops. The Plextor doesnt seem to do DL which is a shame as DL is the future with 8.5Gb discs instead of 4.7Gb.

Alright, I'll go with the Antec then.

Shame about the DVD recorder - would've been nice to have a SATA one.
