Is there anyway to put a system on the forums to show who is present/online in the disscussions?
This would be a great help to the MIST forum to.

p.s The MIST banner shall be going on my website as the forum needs more people and the site I am building will gain alot of traffic.
> I was thinking you could also make it how long they have been signed up to the forums - some people cannot get on that often but post good topics so if they have been on long then they get the regular status!
Somebody could post 300 posts in a few days!
Yes but at least they would be fairly determined. Maybe we could have "fastest ever newbie" competitions.
> Am I staff?
If you were you would be in trouble for posting in work time.

I only ask as soon everyone will be a regular unless some

300 posts doesnt seem that many thats all.
I agree it makes me feel insignificent (thinks that how you spell it) just joking ;)
> Tony, roughly, how many new people sign up for the forums each week?
I dunno. They sign up - it does not mean they post on the forums.

No10 is still a newbie, and he's been around for a while posting in the soccer section. Mind you he should be "staff" so clearly he has been missed in the cull, sorry in the census.

> Excellent. We have little tags under our names.
How many posts to qualify as a regular?
At the risk of removing the suspense, and providing you don't tell anybody. It's 300 posts and 7500 words. System updates once per day.
Whilst the management is fairly sure that "staff" will be staff they take no responsibility for anything the staff say. We do not guarantee that staff who are sacked will lose their "staff" status herein before they have a chance to post embarrassing revelations on the forums. We do not guarantee that the people who are not "staff" are not staff.
Please do not feed the staff.
